We purchased the Hap Tim Diaper Bag Backpack so our reviewer could put it to the test. Keep reading for our full product review.
Since my son was born, I’ve always used a regular, over-the-shoulder diaper bag. But going out for the day with a toddler means bringing snacks, water, different kinds of wipes, toys, diapers, you name it—and my regular diaper bag just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I turned to the Hap Tim Diaper Bag Backpack.
I never thought I would be abackpack diaper bag妈妈,但是一旦我看到这个17-pocket设计n, I wanted to try it out. So I got my toddler ready, loaded up the backpack, and embarked on a day of activities. Did it make my life easier? Was it comfortable to wear all day long? Read on to see what I thought!
Design: 17 pockets made life easier
The overall style of this bag is great. It’s available in two neutral gray hues and definitely doesn’t look like a diaper bag from the outside, which was a nice bonus. On top of looks, the Hap Tim Diaper Bag Backpack kept everything I needed for my son (and me!) very organized and easy to access during our day out. I loved the small zippered pocket on top, which kept my keys and phone safe and easy to grab when I needed them. I stored snacks in the large front compartment and water in the three insulated bottle holders. I packed the large back compartment with diapers, wipes, some toys, and my wallet.

One thing that could be improved is the wipes dispenser, which is too small for the brands I use. Instead, I had to store them in a larger pocket. Not a deal-breaker, but if you’re going to make a wipes dispenser, make it large enough to fit a normal pack of wipes. Additionally, I wish the included 25.7 x 14.2-inch changing pad was a bit longer. It was too small for our toddler, so it didn’t completely protect him from the changing table.
Portability: Comfortable and sturdy for a day out and about
A major plus with this bag is the stroller straps, which allowed me to hang the bag on the stroller when we were walking from place to place. I loved that I didn’t have to throw it in the basket under the stroller and was able to access anything I needed easily.

When we stopped at one of our favorite parks, the padded back area and shoulder straps allowed me to comfortably wear the bag on my back and chase after my toddler. I didn’t have to leave all of our belongings in the stroller, out of sight.
The Hap Tim backpack is definitely ideal for daily use. It weighs around two pounds, not adding a ton of weight to the number of items you need to store in the bag. It is a bit wide at 14 inches but didn’t feel bulky or oversized to my husband or me when we used it.
If you’re going to make a wipes dispenser, make it large enough to fit a normal pack of wipes.
Ease of Cleaning: Designed with water-resistant fabric for quick cleanup
Diaper bagscan get pretty messy, and I loved that the Hap Tim diaper bag backpack was designed with water-resistant fabric, making cleanup a breeze. In case of spills or rain, you can simply wipe the bag dry with a cloth. For bigger messes, clean with a wet cloth and soap as it’s hand-wash only.
Price: Cheap price, not cheap quality
This backpack is currently available for less than $50, an amazing deal considering its versatility and durability. When it comes to diaper bag backpacks, the cheapest ones are available for around $30 and can cost as much as $200, so the price seemed very fair. And if any issues arise, Hap Tim offers a 90-day warranty.
Hap Tim Diaper Bag Backpack vs. Mancro Diaper Bag Backpack
While I did like the Hap Tim Diaper Bag Backpack, another one I tested that stood out to me was theMancro Diaper Bag Backpack。It’s available for around $55 (so a bit more expensive), but it held what I needed for a day out with my son just as well and was also comfortable to carry. My two biggest flaws with each is that the Hap Tim’s wipes compartment wasn’t as sufficient as the Manco’s, but I like the overall style of the Hap Tim more than the Mancro.
An excellent option for a day-to-day backpack.
The Hap Tim Diaper Bag Backpack is an affordable and durable bag for day-to-day use. Its stellar design keeps everything organized, and the straps make it comfortable enough to carry during a full day of adventures.
